flying sparrow large silver filigree ring- SALE
Description
Oh-so-cute silver filigree ring with a sparrow flying through the center.I originally made this ring for myself in brass and after getting comments almost daily on how pretty it was (as well as some requests from co-workers to make a ring for their mom or sister for a gift) I decided to give this thing a go!
This ring is a size 7.5 - 10 and I like to wear mine on my index finger or middle finger. It does not close in the back so it is slightly adjustable. Please indicate what size you would like me to hammer it to at checkout!
The ring is ¾ of an inch tall in the front and tapers to just a few millimeters tall in the back. It is made of oxidized silver plated brass, which gives it a great vintage/antique look and also protects the ring from tarnishing and your finger from turning green (or your clothes, for that matter). Since the ring is plated, it could not be heated to solder the bird on, so I used metal epoxy, which is just as strong as solder when mixed correctly. I have been wearing my ring for months now and I still love it just as much as the first day I put it on.
The ring will be mailed on a little card with a green and brown ribbon, perfect for gift giving. Please indicate at checkout if the ring will be mailed directly to a gift recipient so that I do not include a receipt in the package.
