Rear end bounces up and down as it is pulled. Very rugged and durable. Sanded satin-smooth and finished only with non-toxic mineral oil. Toddlers love it !!! Should last for three generations. For safety, I use no soft pine, breakable plastics, paint or stains in any of my 26 hardwood toys, games or puzzles. I will gladly repair or replace anything that breaks during normal usage FREE. - My toys are made to be played with !!
