I love to dance whether it’s the tango, the waltz, or the twist. My mom was a dancer so I must have gotten her rhythm gene. The ballet is one of the most beautiful things in the world to watch. The grace and beauty of a ballerina is breathtaking which the reason I wanted to make this painting. I made the ballet dancer warm and gentle in color with the spotlight shining down on her.
