This is an oil painting of a squirrel. My mom made friends of a squirrel and I had to paint this squirrel because it may be a relative of her beloved "Sassy". He/she would come right up to the door and peek inside to ask for food or to see mom. I found him run over one day by a cruel person whom Sassy must have thought would be nice. His/her head was squashed but I knew the markings of "Sassy". I had a doctor's appointment and when I went back not 2 hours later to pick our squirrel up and give our squirrel a burial on our property he wasn't there and I was crushed. I called the City of Madison and they could give me no information. So this is in honor and memory of our and especially mom's beloved little squirrel, "Sassy".

This is in jewelry and greeting cards. I also do commissioned oil paints of photographs.
