It is 1945. Ruby is meeting her finace at the train station. She ponders whether or not he is really coming and this picture is captured just as her eyes meet his and before a smile crosses her lips. Ruby was my paternal grandmother's name, (although we called her Mamaw) and this piece is dedicated to Mamaw Ruby.

Ruby is a digital painting, created with brushes pixel by pixel. Since she originates from a digital file, there is no original in solid form. She is printed on demand with an Epson 2000P professional printer with archival pigmented inks with micro pezio ink techology that has been rated to last over 200 years under glass before noticeable fading by Wilhelm Imaging Research. Ruby is printed on Somerset Velvet Photo Enhanced paper, which has a lovely smooth finish. This digital painting measures 6.5 x 13 inches and is available in other sizes upon request.
