Owl softie toy vintage fabric

One of a kind owl softie made with vintage William Morris fabric and linen.

Some of you may know from my blog that we've had an owl nesting in our garden AND that I've been staring at the William Morris fabric in my stash for weeks. Well, I looked at it again the other night and OWLS came into my mind.

This particular design is called Blackthorn and the colour and pattern are just perfect for our little nocturnal friend. The pattern speaks woodland to me and when I look at the owl I don't just see the animal I see it's habitat too.

Please note that this is a LARGER owl than the ones I have also listed.
