Hestia

Description

Hestia is the Greek goddess of the hearth and home. She presides over all domestic life. She represents security and happiness. She is a virgin-goddess and the gentlest, kindest and mildest of all the Olympian Gods. She had no throne but every hearth on Earth is her altar.

This 18 gauge coiled copper wire bangle, my ode to Hestia, has delicate copper wire vines, yellow polymer clay rose buds and jade beads.

Approximately 7 1/2 inches (fits a 6-7 inch wrist well).

The jade has been charged with positive Reiki energy to enhance its mystical properties.

Metaphysical Properties of Jade:

Green Jade is said to assist in various types of self-healing, both emotional and physical. It is associated with the heart, and is also believed to help one find prosperity and abundance. It is also known as the dream stone, bringing realization to ones potential and devotion to purpose. It is used to release suppressed emotions via the dream process. Jade offers mental healing and encourages practicality, wisdom, mental peace and tolerance of others. It can be used for rejuvenation after long periods of stress. It can also help get rid of negative thoughts, reduce fears, and increase one’s capacity for receiving and giving love.

Each color of jade is used for different abilities. Blue for meditation, brown for entering a new phase of life, green for managing passionate feelings, light purple for recovering from a broken heart, red for generating emotional energy, white for problem solving abilities, and yellow for dealing with a lack of energy.

For physical healing, Jade is associated with ailments of the immune system such as the heart, thymus, nervous system and kidneys. It can also stimulate white blood cell and adrenal production.
