LUCY Vintage Feedsack Fabric Wrap Skirt

wow! i was extremely lucky to find an entire bolt of vintage feedsack fabric several weeks ago...i brought it home, unfolded it, washed and dried it, and whipped it up into this cuter-than-cute wrap skirt! the material is a thin, but not sheer, cotton with a red and black flower print with touches of off-white, blue, and green. the skirt is trimmed out with black edging and ties. this fabric is in excellent shape for it's age (probably from the 1940s) but i do reccommend hand washing and line drying due to it's vintage nature.

this wrap skirt is one of my own patterns, i've been handsewing and selling these for a few years now...they're absolutely dreamy for summer! this wrap skirt will fit up to an average size 12 (US) and it is about 27 inches in length from waist to hem. for size reference, the waist from edge to egde is about 54 inches (not including the length of the ties), so if in doubt, wrap a 54" ribbon around your waist where you would wear a skirt and see how it over laps to determine fit. i have a 32" waist/42" hip measurment and this skirt fits me great...could even go a bit bigger.

this skirt is modeled on a mannequin with 35 inch hips.

i recommend hand washing, line drying and a hot iron if needed. this skirt is fun and lovely and great for the lazy, hot days of summer and early fall! it just wraps around and ties on your hip, super fast for the girl on the go! and if for some reason it doesn't fit you the way you want, returns for full refund (minus return shipping cost) are always allowed...i want you to be happy!
