glass coasters / ashtrays featuring Japanese chiyogami patterns

This set of 4 stackable glass & chiyogami coasters are some of the prettiest must-have items to have around.

Japanese chiyogami (old-paper) is always sophisticated and feminine and I've chosen my favorite patterns for these. Each 3 3/4" rimmed coasters feature a different, richly colored design, which brilliantly shine through sturdy glass.

Now, the beautiful patterns fill the decorative need, but it's the glass rim on these coasters that provide the functional need. The 1/2" lip is what will keep condensation from rolling right off and onto the furniture you're trying to protect.

Each of the 4 coasters in this set have a cork backing and can easily do double duty as a small ashtrays at the next get-together. Would make a really nice house warming or wedding gift.

*please note, coasters are water-resistant, but may not be water-proof. Wiping clean with a damp rag is recommended.
