Lapis Pendant
Description
Lapis lazuli is inlaid into a sterling silver pendant. The stone is cut to fit into the metal after the piece is finished. The stone is then ground flat and polished. The highly polished top portion is hammered into a curved shape.The piece measures 2-1/2" long by 3/4" wide and hangs from a heavy 18" sterling chain fastened by a lobster claw.
