Self Striping Sock Yarn - Watermelon Slice

Description

"Watermelon Slice" is a tri-colorway self-striping sock yarn. The last photo is an example of the stripe layout. White will be the smallest stripe.

Hand dyed Ashland Bay 3-Ply 75% Superwash Wool 25% Nylon Fingering Weight sock yarn using pink and green acid dyes. Gauge is 8-10 sts per inch, 16 wraps per inch on US size 0-2. There is approximately 450 yards of fingering weight, self-striping fun.

There is a knot exactly in the middle of the skein. Rather than displaying two smaller skeins, they have been joined for ease of storage and dyeing purposes. I recommend finding the knot before starting the second sock.

Machine Washable Cold. Lay Flat to Dry. Please hand wash separately a few times to ensure all excess dye has been removed.
