Mayan Priestess-Earrings

Description

These were inspired by Peruvian wirework. I have always loved that style and so I created these long, slender diamond-shaped earrings out of hand forged copper wire oxidized jump rings made into chainmaille in the center, wire-wrapped fine genuine facetted quartz brilettes, and raku bead rhondelles which pick up the colors in the oxidized copper.

At an impressive 5 5/8" long, these beauties will give you a commanding presence!

They have solid sterling earwires and come with rubber stoppers.

The dangles will tarnish over time to look more like the the color of the chainmaille. If you prefer them shiny they can be cleaned periodically with a jewelry anti-tarnish cloth or with a small amount of ketchup which will not hurt the stones.

Absolutely meant for high fashion and those events where you want to look impeccably stunning!

These took many hours to make and are one-of-a-kind. They were a labor of love.
