Circus Peanuts YoYo Spun - Handspun Sock Yarn

Description

This is a skein of strong three-ply 100% superwash merino wool fingering weight yarn that would make a great pair of socks or other accessory item. It's spun from a beautifully hand-dyed roving in the "Orange Crush" colorway, purchased from Mama E's C-eye-ber Fiber; her materials are some of the best available, and her eye for color is remarkable; this one's perfect for the August/September Project Spectrum! A gorgeous semi-solid, it reminds me of those little marshmallow orange peanut-shaped candies my grandfather loved so much; he had his own little jar in the kitchen and he'd always sneak in while my grandmother was at the stove and have a little pre-dinner appetizer! It's a superwash merino, but as with most fine fibers and yarns, I'd really recommend a good handwash.
