DICHROIC GLASS NECKLACE Green and Purple with Bead Dangles

Description

About 1 1/4 inch Dichroic Glass, hand made by me, Rachel, in my Cocoa Beach studio. Green and purple band atop iridescent gold/copper/green that changes color as the light strikes it differently when you move!

Accented with dangles of iridescent lavender molded glass beads and tranlucent green glass drum beads - very funky!

Overall length of pendant, including wire wrap and dangles, is about 3 3/4 inches. On 18 inch gold filled curb chain.

Dichroic Glass is a fused glass process using layers of glass with precious metals & oxides including gold, silver, copper, chromium, titanium, aluminum. The word "dichroic" means "two colors" due to the mercurial nature of the metals in glass. Incredible Heat flashing puts them into the gem family.
