Braided Fleecy Dog Toy

I used strips of black, white and charcoal gray fleece to braid them into a fun and durable dog toy!

I started making these toys when my dog was a puppy and I wanted something soft for her to chew on and play tug-o-war with! This toy is about 12 inches long and the braid is about 1 inch wide.

There is a small loop on one end for you to hold on to when playing, or your dog will like to hold onto that to carry it around. This toy is different from the others in that it is made from 6 strips of fleece, instead of just 3. It is a bit thicker than the others and would be great for a bigger dog!

The fleece material is soft for your pooch to chew on, and can be good for their teeth and gums because it is so gentle. These fleece toys are a soft alternative to those heavy rope toys you typically buy and for this reason, they are used by agility handlers. You could even wet and freeze for a teething pup! I like to "hide" a treat within braid knots and it is fun for hours!

Toys similar to mine can be found at your favorite pet stores for $4 to $7!

I made these for my friends and coworkers that had dogs (and even some cats!) and they all said their dogs wouldn't put these down! I hope your pet loves this toy as much as my Minnie did! *See picture of her with her very own fleecy toy!*
