Cycle (Print)

Description

I am selling signed prints of this 6" X 6" watercolor painting (the "copyright protected" language will not be on the print). The original painting is watercolor and pen and ink on hot-pressed 90 lbs watercolor paper.

I will only make a limited edition of prints, and each print will be signed and numbered. I will also give you the option of having the print mounted on archival board (6" X 6") for display purposes--just let me know if you want the piece mounted (there will be no extra cost).

I painted this piece to capture an image of a stunning bird eating a not-so-stunning beetle. The bird is a Troller and the colors that I used are pretty true to the bird's actual colors. I titled this piece "Cycle" in reference to a lifecycle, and the oval shapes in the background are references to eggs.

I have detailed the process behind this painting, along with the other 6" X 6" paintings, on the blog that I keep with my sister. My sister and I post our work at various stages of development and then critique each other's work.
