Blue Hydrangea (Print)

Description

I am selling signed prints of this 6" X 6" watercolor painting (the "copyright protected" language will not be on the print). The original painting is watercolor and pen and ink on hot-pressed 90 lbs watercolor paper.

I will only make a limited edition of prints, and each print will be signed and numbered. I will also give you the option of having the print mounted on archival board (6" X 6") for display purposes--just let me know if you want the piece mounted (there will be no extra cost).

I painted this piece to capture the beauty of a hydrangea flower that I had bought for my wife. Hydrangeas are beautiful flowers, but they do not last long. They are also very difficult to draw and to paint, so it is very rewarding when they turnout so well.

I have detailed the process behind this painting, along with the other 6" X 6" paintings, on the blog that I keep with my sister. My sister and I post our work at various stages of development and then critique each other's work.
