This is drawing/painting in loose abstract style of an agave cactus. These beautiful cacti are everywhere here in the Chihuahuan desert. I am endlessly fascinated with the shades of color hidden in them.

This work is created on a piece of upcycled/rescued wood block. It measures:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
7"x 11" x 1 1/2"

The edges are paited a pastel beige color in a gallery wrapped fashion. I have signed the bottom right corner, on the back I wrote the title and dated it.

Over the entire work, I applied a light fixitive for protection and long life. I attached a metal wall hanger on the back for mounting. However, this block is sturdy enough for you simply place it somewhere like on a shelf and it will support its self.
