Frosted Pink - 6.5

Description

Frosted Pink is a bit of a departure for me. It was inspired by a request for an opaque ring. I made up a test piece and really liked the result, so I made up a few more. It really resembles 1950's kitchen ware. Very ceramic looking. I've sculpted a few ripples into the surface.

This is a size 6 1/2. The glass has been lightly etched to give it a frosted finish. It looks just like beach glass, worn smooth by the action of sand and waves.

I took great care when I shaped this ring. There are no sharp or rough edges. The ring is made of glass though, and should be treated with care. Please don't drop your ring on concrete and avoid punching hard things.

This ring was inspired by Beach Glass. No real beach glass was harmed in any way to create it. Please don't think that I go to the beach and collect glass to melt. I use Italian Art Glass. People always ask and I don't want be misleading.

Each ring is shipped in the handmade (by me) box shown in the photo. Perfect for gift giving or personal treasuring. This box is covered with Yuzen Chiyogami paper. You will receive exactly what you see in the photo.
