CLEARANCE Goldfish and Purple Water Lilies- Original Chinese Brush Painting

Description

This is a mini-painting done in watercolor of a swishy-tailed goldfish swimming in a pond amidst deep purple water lilies. The lively goldfish symbolizes wealth and good fortune in the Chinese culture, while water lilies (often used interchangeably with the lotus) signify purity, ultimate freedom, and spiritual enlightenment.

In the painting's upper right corner is my square artist or signature seal, which was dipped into red cinnabar paste and then impressed onto the paper.

Dimensions: Painting is 4 x 6" on archival watercolor paper, and is not matted or framed.
