Blue Muumuu original relief woodblock print

Description

"Blue Muumuu" is an original relief print carved from wood block and printed with oil-based ink on Stonehenge paper. The print is signed and titled with its edition number in pencil. I print each piece by hand with a wooden rice paddle so every one is unique. This piece is one in a limited addition of 8. I used a reduction method meaning that the blocks were destroyed as part of the art-making process and no future editions can be printed.

This particular print was created in 2005 and has been exhibited at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, The Main Line Art Center in Haverford, PA, and in Vol. 4, Issue 2 of "Philadelphia Stories".

The image measures 11.5" x 20". It comes with a bright white mat and acid free foam core backing which measure 15.5" x 25".
