I'm so excited about these brand-spanking-new bloomer minishorts, inspired by Strawberry Shortcake and her pals. I made myself a pair, and I've been wearing them almost every day. They're dressy enough for running around the city or going out (maybe with a pair of leggings underneath), and comfy enough for yoga class or a well-deserved nap. Equally fabulous under a swingy skirt on a windy day. This gorgeous fabric is vintage, and alas, I only have a bit left, so this style will be limited...

DETAILS:
-Edges finished in an elasticized double-edged ruffle
-Completely clean finished inside and out (see the last picture for the inside seams)
-Vintage pale green 100% silk shantung with embroidered clover pattern.

SIZING:

MEDIUM: Hips: Fits 36" to 39" (88cm-99cm)
Inseam: 3.5" (9cm)
Center Front Seam: 8.5" (21.5cm)
Center Back Seam: 11" (28cm)

-Since the waist is elasticized, it will stretch to fit many waist sizes. The total stretch is a minimum of 10" more than the hip measurements.
-My mannequin is wearing a Small, and her hips are 36".
-The shorts have been pre-washed.

CARE AND WASHING:
-Hand wash in warm water. Hang or lay flat to dry.

ABOUT THE MATERIALS AND PROCESS:
-These shorts are handmade from scratch, including the pattern. Search the tag "BFSC" on Etsy to find other made-from-scratch clothing.
-These are made with vintage fabric yardage.
