autumn handbound book

Description

the dimensions for this autumn handbound book are about 5 1/2" x 7 1/2", and about 1" thick.

the cover was bound with a pretty autumn leaves and acorns fabric. the inside of the covers are lined with an elegant yet neutral olive green paper with a fancy swirling pattern in a lighter color on top. the other side is an ivory white.

the paper used is crisp georgia-pacific acid-free 110lb white card stock. each page was individually hand torn with a patterened paper edger. there are 10 signatures of 3 sheets each, to make a grand total of 120 pages. the signatures were stitched together with white upholstery thread using the kettle stitch method, and were then glued to several layers of cheesecloth material before being placed into the book. as a result, the pages will lay flat and you can write all the way into the margins!

~* i love autumn, with all the pretty colors in the trees.. and acorns are just so adorable! i fell in love with this fabric, and knew i had to turn it into this very book! *~
