Yes, folks, this bag is made from a black velvet skirt and is perfect for holding all of your worldly belongings. When I made it, I decided not to simply keep the front as the front and the back as the back. As you can see from the pictures, I folded the skirt the other way for something a little bit different and I'm really quite tickled with the results!

This purse has five outside pockets. The inner lining is white with a bold, black flowered pattern. It has two large hook and eye closures at the top. The strap is made from black wide wale corduroy.

48 inch strap (122 cm)

Like my other purses, black velvet is machine washable (hang to dry). It makes life a little bit easier.
