Finish your retro/vintage or rockabilly look with this mini top hat, reminiscent of hat styles from the 1940s! Mini hats, also called toy hats or doll hats, were popular after World War II, ostensibly due to material shortages.

This hat has a darling cherry theme, in two available versions. The first photo shows the version with a resin cherry cluster and cherry-on-white band. This style of hat was used during a modeling shoot. (Photo by Rob Miracle.)

The second version has smaller cherry clusters on a black and white plaid ribbon band some that would make it coordinate with any schoolgirl outfit! Perfect for any pinup or burlesque look. It is finished with with a hand-sewn felt and pom-pom cherry cluster, complete with hand-sewn veins on the leaf.

For either version, this hat is made of black felt, measuring 5.5 inches long by 4.75 inches wide, including the brim. It is adorned with a spray of red, white and black "eyelash feathers." The short veil is made of red netting with cherry-like chenille red dots.

This hat will be custom-made when you order it. If you like, we can also make this model with either a red or a white hat. Let us know your preferences when you order.

The hat is sewn to a clear comb, in a style called a fascinator, for easy attachment to any hairstyle. (We can add an elastic headband if you request it; tell us your hair color so we can match the band to it.) All adornments are hand-sewn and securely attached.

Shipping by USPS Priority mail is $5 (no tracking or insurance) or by UPS Ground is $8-10, depending on location. International buyers please email for shipping costs.
