Soft Pastel art by Allan KrummenackerHel, the Norse Goddess of the Dead, was one of Loki's children, sent to the underworld where those who did not die in battle awaited Ragnorak to release them.
Her table was Hunger, her knife was Famine, and her bed was Sickbed, and her Bed-Hangings were Glimmering Misfortune.
