Large Origami Crane Egg Ornament -- Purple and Silver

Description

This egg shaped ornament is made up of alternating columns of origami cranes, in both purple and silver foil papers, built up over a styrofoam core. Two additional purple cranes, open in flight position, perch near the silver ribbon. There are a total of 91 cranes in all. A purple acrylic rhinestone rests at the center of the base of the egg. The entire ornament measures nearly 6 inches(approx 15 cm) tall.

The first photograph shows the entire ornament. The others are close-up shots of the open cranes at the top, the layers of cranes, and of the rhinestone at the base.
