Blue-grey wool with mohair curls

Description

Hand dyed, handspun, thick and thin blue wool with lovely sheen and random white, yellow and orange mohair curls sprinkled throughout (1 streak of red-pictured-near an end).

This yarn started as a fleece, purchased locally, that I then washed, dyed and spun. While spinning I added the mohair curls at random intervals. See the featured shawl for an example of what this looks like woven.
After spinning twice the amount I plyed the two together for increased stability and blocked the yarn with eucalon.
It's now waiting for the next phase of it's life, wherever creativity takes it.

Approximately 224 yds. Thick and thin yarn in the 8-10wpi range, 6 oz.
