Dream Pin SQUIRREL
Description
This squirrel is making her way to the bird feeder, along the edge of squirrel space and time. I begin with my original colored pencil drawing, scan and size for a pin. The image is adhered to several layers of paper discs, making a sturdy, but delicate pin. I carefully add interest and diminsion to the image using embossing inks and colored ink with bits of sparkle. It's like wearing a tiny painting! A metal pin and clasp is mounted to a finished back.Added on Sep 30, 2009
