Harvest Moon Necklace

Description

There is a childrens book called "Possum's Harvest Moon" in which a little possum is trying to get all his friends in the meadow to come out for one last soiree before winter...and it just so happens to fall on a harvest moon. Well, he is successful in the end and all the meadow creatures come out and have a grand 'ol time before hibernating for the winter.

The gold stone pendant in this necklace looks like I imagine possum's harvest moon to be.....perfectly round in a warm golden hue. The beads that make up the body of the necklace are my favorite part....7mm picture jasper rondelles in a variety of gold, gray, blue, cream and brown are the perfect compliment to the gold "moon" below. They are accented by small and large silver beads as well. The total length is 16 3/4" with an additional 2" of sterling chain if you wish to wear it a bit longer.
