The ultimate sock monkey - Sunday

Description

This monkey is called "Sunday", and is definitely male, despite the hot pink outfit. He proudly wears his name on arms and legs, has a gold satin heart on his belly, and measures app. 40cm/ 16" from head to toe.

Due to matching velcro on his hands and feet, nothing is safe from him - Sunday can be found hanging from the curtain rail or swinging from the chandelier. His eyes are made from felt, which means this monkey is also an ideal friend for toddlers.

The original sock is made from 80% cotton and 20% stretch.

The monkey is part of the Strumpfkunst (sock art) collection and is a true OOAK - I work without patterns and take special care to create individual faces and change socks frequently. The high-quality label marks it as a special breed - a real Strumpfkunst critter.

It is lovingly sewn by hand and made extra special by its simplicity and cute facial expression.

It can be washed by hand or on low cycle/ temperature and will of course take a "bath" before moving to its new home.

The packaging is also picked with care - each package is nicely wrapped, includes some surprises, and Blossom (my spokesmonkey) will probably slip in some of her merchandising as well. I cannot help it, she insists!
