ABOUT THE BEAD

This huge bead is a blend of Lauscha tri-coloured red glass, sparkly gold filligrana, and a touch of intense black carefully shaped into a three-inch lentil! Finally a twist and a raised gold filligrana dot were added to the front to catch the eye.

Each of my beads is one of a kind - you'll never see another one exactly like it again. I could never duplicate them, even if asked, because they seem to form themselves.

My beads are made with imported Italian Effetre/Moretti and Vetrofond glasses, German Lauscha glass, Bullseye glass, Japanese Satake glass, Gaffer Glass, rare Double Helix glass and sometimes assorted frits. All beads are properly kiln-annealed for lasting durability. This bead is wound on a 1/8'' mandrel and the hole is cleaned.
