Jalama Lithograph

Description

Jalama Lithograph was created with a new form of lithography using a paper matrix rather than the traditional lime stone. It was formulated to teach school age kids the process without the harsh chemicals or toxic lime dust created when grinding the stone.

The process gives the same lush print as the stone, with the draw back that you only get a few prints before the plate begins to disintegrate (the stone lasts for 100s of images!)

I was only able to get 2 prints from each plate of the three lithographs listed.

These ship matted. Image size is 13x10" with a finished matted size of 20x16". Ready to pop into a pre-made frame.
