Meet Barbara, a yumptatious sock monkey.

Babs, as we know her around here, is perfectly at ease with her femininty and sees no contradiction in her love of Germaine Greer and Nigella Lawson. She likes nothing better than a lively debate on the issues of the day whilst a tremendous home-made pie cooks in the Aga.

Barbara is crafted with love from freshly laundered, unworn, brand- spanking new cotton socks, and her girth, she says, is courtesy of super soft polyester fibre filling (Fire retardant to BS5852-2). I, however, suspect it is due to her love of pastry. All her seams have been stitched twice for extra strength. She's a full figured female of approx 12" (31cm)height.

*SAFETY NOTICE*
Babs loves children but is unsuitable for children under 5, not just because she finds it hard to maintain a conversation at a suitable level, but her small bead eyes may cause trouble.

Barbara likes a warm bath, but only when grubby. Give her a whirl at 40oc.
