Photographer's Thoughts: Diane and I took a trip around the south eastern, southern, and south western coast of our beautiful state of Florida. Our first stop was in Fort Lauderdale at this Irish hotel overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. It was sunrise and I went out to the patio and caught this picture of the guy going out fishing at the crack of dawn. It was so peaceful and so beautiful. Two weeks later, this place was hit by a hurricane. Life is like that...peace, tranquility and then a storm...sometimes quite a turbulent one at that. We need to learn to take the time to enjoy the tranquil moments of life so we can better weather the storms within our lives. Nature is such a great teacher!
