“In the Wind” is a very special print coming from my first woodblock block in years. It is hand pulled using the wooden spoon to transfer the ink to the paper. I have used 2 different blocks to create this layers and texture of this print. Mixing linoleum and wood blocks gives this piece an incredible texture.
I am still experimenting with printing and you gain by purchasing an original print at a low – introductory- still playing price.
I am really excited to play with this new medium and can’t wait to create more. Each time I print this image it always looks different as I use hand mixed colours and unique papers.
