Lucy the Hermit Crab tee

Description

Lucy is reminiscent of my beloved pets of many years ago and the doodles of them that filled the margins of my school papers. My crustacean friends often came with decorated shells. One was even hot-glued inside a miniature San Francisco 49er's helmet. He quickly moved out, favoring a simpler but more spacious abode.

Lucy's shell is decked out with cherry-print fabric. Lucy was hand-stenciled with a double layer of Speedball's Textile Screenprinting ink, then appliquéd with cotton fabric and zig-zag stitched. Her eyes were hand-painted with screenprinting ink. She would love to be your pet!

Lucy resides on this off-white long-sleeved t-shirt with a chest seam and sized 12 months. If you see another fabric you'd like on a hermit crab, please convo me. Shirts will vary on custom orders.

Each of my items was lovingly imagined, doodled, planned, handmade, and stored all in a smoke-free (cat-friendly) home. I happily combine shipping, and each additional clothing item ships for just $1. I do custom orders for little to no extra charge. Just ask and I'll see what I can do.
