Just Like A Spider Story Box

Description

This assemblage box is called "Just Like a Spider." Story boxes are my creations - each box is unique and tells a story using Loteria cards.

The box measures approximately 4 inches by 6 inches and it is 1 1/4 inch thick. The front of the story box is decorated with a wooden applique that has been painted. Framed inside of the applique is a picture of a spider. When opened, the box is 8 1/2 inches wide. The interior is decorated with cards from the traditional Loteria (Mexican bingo) deck, and it is embellished with glitter, sequins and glass and plastic objects. The box comes signed by me - the artist.
