Double Dutch & Dutch Rings

Nothing is more beautiful than the female form.

These sculptural rings are an ode to women everywhere.

The name Dutch Rings refers to the expression, "Going Dutch," when you pay for yourself, and comments on the equal partnership between the glass and the silver and between the makers. Amy Johnson and goldsmith Cynthia Archer have been collaborating on many jewelry projects for over 5 years.

These pieces have been widely exhibited and published in many different books and magazines, and are one of the designers most recognizable pieces in the collection.

They are available on a custom made basis here for the first time.

DoubleDutch or Dutch?

The Dutch ring has one body on the top of the ring band that wraps over the top. The DoubleDutch has two bodies wrapping around the whole finger that meet on both sides

To size your finger...

Wide rings fit tighter, so we suggest getting your finger sized with a set of wide ring sizers (at your local jewelry shop) or taking your normal finger size and going up one size.

Contrary to what you may think, a glass ring is quite strong. To properly care for and wear your glass piece we suggest a few things to remember.

- Wear your ring on your non-dominant hand
- Remove your ring before handwashing, (you don't want to flick your hands dry and have the ring fall off because your fingers are slippery or cold.)
- When giving applause or clapping, be sure not to have another ring on your opposite hand clanking against it.
- Be careful not to bash it against metal door handles
- These rings have been annealed and are structurally sound

Due to popularity these rings each is custom and will differ very slightly because of the handmade nature.

Please allow up to two weeks from order before shipment will occur, for the making process.
