This is my entry for October's Etsy Beadweaver Challenge:
A Study In Monochrome
I stitched (two beads at a time) a herringbone base from color lined beads that I wasn't too fond of, but I like how they came out with this weave....
Then, I added a picot edge using size 11 and size 15 beads.
Next came the waves on each side using size 11 seed beads and 4mm drop beads.
I knew it needed something... So, I asked my expert... My 7 year old...
She said I needed to make it look like a road and it needed the middle line. So, that's what I did!

That kid was right! It made the piece!

The clasp is made from two Liz Long spacer beads...
