Dark Woods - Original Paper Theatre

Description

This is a hand painted wall-hung theatre scene. Complete with removable scenery and props.

The paper doll has moveable arms and legs. She has an owl mask and a cape which she can wear. She can also have a balloon or a bird cage to hang beside her. Each of these peices is hand painted on highest quality watercolour paper and sealed with satin varnish.

There are 3 peices of removeable scenery. A semi-circle of grass and flowers, a full circle of hanging grasses and flowers and a full circle of trees. Like the doll and parts, each scene is hand painted on watercolour paper and sealed with satin varnish. It is then held within a circle of wood with decorative tacks to allow easy removal.

This was the first puppet theatre I ever made and as such it has quirks, it's a bit wobbly in its construction but it will not fall apart. For all these reasons the price is less than it would otherwise be. All you need to do is be delicate :)

It is 13" diameter and 2" deep.
