Book II

Description

Book II is the second in a series of artist's books that I started at an artist's residency couple of years ago. It consists of handmade cotton, abaca, and kozo paper that's been hand-pigmented and layered to create illustrations on the page.

I then screenprinted on text and images to form a short story and bound it using a traditional japanese binding. It accordion folds up to about 10" x 10" and unfolds to hang down close to 8' in length. It's one of a kind and is signed and dated.


Book II can be displayed closed or hung from the dowell. If you'd like to see close-ups of each panel, send me an note and I'll pass along more detailed photos.
