Etsy Shop By Color Purse - Fall Version

Description

This bag was inspired by Etsy's Shop By Color section! I spend way too much time playing with my mouse and those bubbles. My original Shop By Color purse was white with the colors of the lower right corner (blues, purples and reds). This is a variation made for the fall and winter.

The exterior of this purse is a dark red vinyl. Hand sewn to the vinyl are buttons of all types in shades of red, blue and white. Some are shiny, some matte, some etched, some concave (kinda like worry stones!), and some convex. A fun variety of shades, sizes and textures. The interior of the bag is fully lined with purple cotton (backed with interfacing for durability) and includes four lined pockets; there are two open pockets on one side, and one open pocket next to a zipper pocket on the other side. The pockets help to make grabbing your keys or cell much easier. The inside of the bag is held closed with a secure magnetic snap.

This is the smaller of my two sizes of shoulder bags. It is just under 11 inches long and is 6.5 inches tall. The sides are three inches deep at the bottom, and narrow to two inches at the top. This narrowing effect continues in the strap, which is two inches wide where it meets the purse, and one inch wide at the top, where it sits on your shoulder. This makes the bag hang really nicely. A plastic insert has been sewn between the interior and exterior at the bottom in order to help retain this shape while the bag hangs from your shoulder.

As with all Tryst by Taylor bags, all seams (except for ones through vinyl) are triple stitched for strength and durability. Also, all seams are hand knotted, with their ends sewn out of site.
