Chunky handmade original design vintage and antique button and bead heart necklace

Description

This necklace, simply stated, is an absolute eye-catcher! Vintage and antique beads (seed, niblet, bugle) and buttons (bakelite, painted plastic, plastic and rhinestone, painted glass), topped off with a stunning vintage rhinestone and gold-tone used-to-be earring. One of the rhinestones has a slight scratch on it but someone would have to be awfully close to notice--and if they do notice, feel free to say, "Hey, you're a little close, aren't you?" The clasp with the bakelite and painted button--LOVE the butterfly!--hooks into one of the beaded areas. The part that wraps around the neck is that stitch I don't know the name of but 6 threads go through every bead, the thread itself forms part of the design, and it's 3-sided, each side having a distinct pattern of its own (although the one all pink side was hard to capture in a photo, trust me, there is a pattern in there.) Dimensions for just the "heart" centerpiece are 4" wide by 3-1/2" high. Laid end to end it's 16-1/2" long. It's so gorgeous! You'll be so happy when you acquire it!!
