My ASIAN HEADRESS is a great black and white,realistic piece. The likeness is from a photograph of a woman from the Northern Thailand Mountain region. Her hair is completely adorned with intricate silver pieces.

I have been an artist all of my life, but am a self-taught fine painter and have only been painting since 2000. My work is very realistic, as I get many of my ideas from photographs. ASIAN HEADRESS was actually done when I was about 13 years old, many years ago! ASIAN HEADRESS , like MY BROTHERS BOOTS and OUT OF THE SHADOWS(other listings in my shop), is from the Vietnam War Era, as that was a heavily influential period in my life.

My ASIAN HEADRESS original completely drawn with one single #2 writing pencil, as I didn't know there was a differnce in pencils at that age for drawing and writing.
