Description

Carved lapis flower bead along with sodalite rounds and cubes, large 10mm swarovski crystal and white swarovski pearls make up this cutie. Great look to go with jeans and t-shirt. Two dangles, and a heart with lock charm. Finished off with a sterling silver chain and SS lobster claw clasp that makes this baby adjustable. (Which makes it perfect for gift giving.) On the smallest adjustment it has a 7" diameter, on the largest 7 1/2".

Note: Bracelet measurements are taken from the inside diameter (not laying flat) to ensure a good fit and to account for bead size.

Lapis lazuli is an ancient gem, and as such, has a storied history. Egyptian cultures made a practice of burying a lapis lazuli scarab with their dead, and believed it to offer protection. The very earliest cultures valued lapis lazuli more highly than gold. Greeks spoke of an ancient sapphire which was included with gold, and this was unmistakenly lapis. Some believed that dreaming of lapis would foretell love that would be forever faithful.
