PEPPERMINT CANDY hand coiled textile art basket with lid
Description
These little box styled baskets have always been a favorite among my customers. This one is perfect for the holiday season. It makes a great little gift, especially when it is filled with soap or candies. It is even small enough to fit into most Christmas stockings.Decorated with a couple of buttons and two crossed candy canes, this basket has been hand coiled in peppermint reds and whites and licorice black. The box features a "flap top" lid.
The measurements are: 5.5 inches by 4.25 inches. It sits 1.5 inches tall.
My baskets are made by the coiling method of basketry. Strips of fabric are wrapped around an inner cording as the shape is formed. The inner cording makes them sturdy.
Each one is unique.
