SCRAPZ Custom Braille pendant - LARGE (for 3-6 letters)
Description
Introducing SCRAPZ by faerwear.You guessed it, using myriad scraps collected over a decade in my studio.
Each SCRAPZ pendant is created from bits of sterling silver, copper, and sometimes brass. I use the Braille alphabet to spell out various words - so you can share if you feel so inclined, but you don't have to if you don't!
Large pendants tend to come 1" – 2” in width and 1” in height.
Shown here is the "AMOR" pendant ("love" in Spanish). Yours will vary slightly in shape and (depending on word) size - SCRAPZ pendants are made-to-order so each piece is entirely unique. I've intended for these to have a "shabby chic", rough quality to them - both pendant and sterling silver chain have been antiqued to add to the flavor.
When placing your order please specify your requested chain length and chosen word - please keep it six characters or less. 16" - 18" chains are included in the cost - additional chain length will incur a slight increase in fee to cover the (high and rising) cost of sterling silver. All pendants come with secure, sterling silver lobster clasp. Womens' necklaces come with 1/2" extender.
Please allow up to two weeks before ship date to give me time to create, process and ship - these pendants came about as a way to work while traveling on the road with a minimal amount of tools and supply purchases. they are "cold-connected", meaning no torch or solder was used in the creation process (it's too hot, and driving with tanks - dangerous!)
All faerwear is shipped in sustainably-created gift bag and is packaged for safety in shipment. In the US, faerwear is shipped USPS First Class mail with Delivery Confirmation. International orders are wonderful things - if your country is not already listed as a shipping option, do contact me for a revised invoice and I will happily ship it across borders and oceans.
