Infatuated - Handspun Yarn

Description

I'm calling this listing "Infatuated" because I absolutely adore this yarn! 65 yards of wonderful, textured yarn in varying shades of pink, plied with pretty sparkly silver thread! The plying process used to make this yarn gives it an amazing bumpy texture, and the silver thread gives the yarn some subtle sparkle. The two close-up pictures give a better idea of the glittery effect the silver thread gives.

This yarn is 100% mill end wool and rayon thread. Finished items should be handwashed gently in cold water. Since the yarn is wool, it will felt, but I'm not sure what the thread will do. I don't recommend using this yarn for felting projects unless you're feeling very adventurous!

What are mill ends?
Mill ends are wool from commercial spinning mills that for whatever reason didn’t make it all the way through to become yarn. This wool is sold at a discount, which I pass on to you in the form of lower prices! Since the wool is the same stuff used by commercial yarn companies, it’s very good quality, and since using mill ends means using something that might otherwise be thrown away, it’s recycling! So you’re getting high-quality, lower priced yarns, and doing something good for the environment at the same time!
