Poor Jaime Reyes. He was kicking around a disserted lot one day and happened upon a scarab half-buried in the ground. At night the scarab came to life and fused itself to Jaime, selecting him as a host. At age 17, he became the new Blue Beetle.

Can you imagine the pressure of being a host for a self-aware, slightly nefarious bug? Can you imagine trying to explain to your parents? You thought telling them you wrecked the car was hard? Feh! "Hey, Mom and Dad? I have a scarab growing out of my back and I have superpowers now. Oh, and by the way, Green Lantern wants to know if I can go out tonight." You thought you had problems in high school...

Blue Beetle is part of the "Black & ___" series. All yarns in the "Black &" series are dyed half black and half another colorway. This dyeing process creates interesting striping and pooling sequences.

This listing is for one skein only. Each skein is at least 100 grams and 430 yards. Individual skeins may weigh more and have additional yardage. Yay for you! :)
